Toltec Wisdom Circles are just one of the programs offered by
Awakening Seminars.

Toltec means "artist."

The Toltecs were the supreme artists of the Spirit. They were not a distinct national group, but people from a number of groups who had attained mastery over themselves.

A basic Toltec concept is that we are dreaming. This dream is based on agreements - things that we have accepted as true. The focus is to realize we are in a dream, and wake up in the dream. When you sleep at night and become awake in your dream - realize you are dreaming - you become free of the limitations that just a moment before you were subject to. Now you can fly or perform other superhuman feats. In the same way, when you wake up in the "dream of reality" you become freed from all that seemingly limits you here.

Don Miguel Ruiz has brought Toltec teaching into the modern age through the Four Agreements. These are guidelines for living that empower us as we take responsibility for our way of being in the world, and practicing each agreement is an act of self-love. They are replacements for agreements based on conditioning and false beliefs that don't work, perpetuated by the collective dream of the planet.

Be Impeccable with Your Word means not using our words or thoughts against ourselves, or against anyone else.

Don't Take Anything Personally means that you will not take what others say and do and use it to cause yourself suffering.

When you Don't Make Assumptions, you take responsibility for communicating what you want as clearly as possible and for asking whatever questions are necessary to gain a clear understanding of what others are communicating. In not making assumptions, you minimize misunderstandings and "drama" and you nurture yourself by asking for what you want.

Always Do Your Best means having acceptance and compassion for yourself, not expecting more or less of yourself than is reasonable at the time. Always Do Your Best also implies taking action, loving yourself enough to practice and practice until new, self-loving habits are formed.

Jason Brody is certified by the Sixth Sun Foundation to lead Toltec Wisdom Circles.

Toltec Wisdom Circles provide a monthly forum in which to learn, and practice the understandings that come from this tradition. The evenings are practical, experiential, and provide you with tools and understandings you can apply in your life. You may come whenever you like - appreciated.

"When we master Awareness, Transformation, and Love, we reclaim our Divinity. This is the goal of the Toltec."
